I'm a bad little blogger

Whoops, totally forgot to post anything this week ;)

We've been busy, busy, busy. So much stuff going on. Can I remember most of it to tell you? Here goes a good try...

So on the Olan front. What a little guy. He is so incredible, for those of you who haven't met him... man oh man you're missing out! He's just started doing this thing where he crinkles up his nose when he smiles... SO CUTE!

On the house front, we lost a good one last night. This market is killing us. Mom, Olan and I went to look at a place yesterday, it was a "fixer-upper" but in a really good neighbourhood that we like, close to everything but familyish too. Had Dad and Adam look at it later that evening. Decided it was perfect, put an offer in for MORE than the asking price, which is something that continues to bug me. It just went on the market yesterday and by the time our offer went in they had three. To make a long story shorter, someone went higher than us... jerks! And yeah, it musn't have been meant to be, yada, yada, yada but I swear if I redecorate one more house in my head thinking that it's going to be ours! Grrrrr.

The weather here has been poohy city. We had one glorious week and now we're back to crappy cold rainy yuck.

So that's all I can think of for now because I'm tired because this little teether keeps waking me up waaaaay too many times a night. Little pooper.

This is the crinkle nose smile

To all the mamas in the house...

Happy Mother's Day! (yesterday) :)

I hope that all the grandmothers, mothers, godmothers, mothers-to-be all had an excellent day. I have pictures to post but no means to post them yet. All in good time :)

I had a GREAT first mother's day. First there was a lounge in bed while I listened to Olan and Adam make me breakfast. Then they came in and delivered a big tray with bacon, eggs, toast... coffee :) and the Saturday Globe. I got to laze around in bed, read the style section (which is my favourite)... it was blissful. Then we went for dim sum with the fam, then a drive to the valley which was all blossomy and warmer, a trip to a garden centre for MY mother and then back to the house where Meredith had prepared a gourmet meal of pho and salad rolls followed by some sort of vietnamese custardy delight. A more perfect day we couldn't have had! Not that a single gift was needed, after all, what could be more perfect than this kid I have? Adam and Olan got me a massage at my favourite spa... I'm addicted after my preggo massage. Now I just have to think of the perfect time to use it.
