Baptism Sunday

Olan ended his stint as a little heathen today by being baptized. It was a really nice service and I think that everyone agreed that it was nice that he was old enough to understand what it was all about. He participated in the service by pouring the water in and was a star when it was time to have it poured over his head. He were fortunate enough to have Harvey and Nim visiting for the weekend and with family and friends we helped fill the church to the max. Olan looked quite dapper in his little suit and we had a wonderful brunch celebration after. He was quite pleased with his gifts, which included a Jesus action figure (complete with posable arms!), Jesus bandaids and a big boy pocket watch with his name engraved!
