Olan the wonder boy

Well my little man is a year and a half. Hard to believe! No longer a baby (well maybe a bit) but a toddler with his own beautiful mind full of mischief and questions and opinions. Oh I love this boy.

We had his checkup yesterday and he in the 99th percentile for height and 50th for weight, a long string bean of a boy. He was so brave getting his needles that the doctor gave him TWO "choo-choo" stickers (Thomas the train). He was full of chat, impressing her with all his new words, he even called her doctor! She did wonder what I'm feeding him, he's almost three feet tall!

The cutest thing that he's doing RIGHT now is saying his own name. Every time he does it I get the serious heart squeeze, it just kills me! He's all about pointing out what belongs to him 'owlin toast, owlin chair, owlin bath" and on and on. He also likes to point out what belongs to other people and he does laps and laps around the driveway pointing to "momma's car, mur's car, grandpa's car, day's car".

I just can't get enough, can you?

Olan and I had an exceptional time and the only thing we would have changed would be to make it longer! Sunshine, sand, water, shopping and good times with the fam. It just doesn't get any better.
