Prepping for the party

Grandpa's big 64th tomorrow so we were busy getting ready for the festivities this afternoon. Check back for party pictures tomorrow, it promises to be be *quite* a day. :)

Garage sale fun!

A rainy day, but made much more fun by a trip to the market and some garage sales. 

Olan comes up with an interesting combo of our spoils for the morning.

Better off the wagon than off the bike...

Life got a bit in the way of posting there for a bit. Then the classic you have so much to post that you need even more time, etc., etc., etc.

So I make a clean break and give you a few shots from the lovely evening we had here. Mom is bedridden, fighting her way back from a yuck case of pneumonia... or ammonia as O calls it. We decided to keep the house as quiet as possible and ride down to the Chickenburger for milkshakes and burgers. Olan is loving the bike even more this summer and takes great delight in the steep hills all around us here. Tonight he was particularly thrilled to have his Grandpa whizzing past yelling hello. When we got home he announced "wasn't that a fun time!". Indeed it was.
