Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I've been quite the delinquent blogger through this holiday season! Its been such a busy time with a new baby but we've had a wonderful, magical Christmas, the best!!! I didn't get a slice of the things accomplished that I wanted to, but somehow it all worked out in the end- it's hard to adjust to this new limited free time thing :)
Christmas was all about the babies. I'll make sure to include a picture of the tree, PILED with gifts. Roughly 75% of those belonged to Isabelle and Olan. I'm not sure if they truly understood how spoiled they were but they've been enjoying all the gifts and seemed pretty cheerful throughout. They're changing so much, so fast. It was great having Aly and Isabelle here for three weeks because we got to see Isabelle change so much by the time she left. They're both starting to interact more which is very cool, I love those big ear to ear smiles. And nobody seems to be able to make them smile like Aunty Mer.
Adam and I didn't escape the season without our share of loot; I got really cool boots from Adam, an extremely cool vacuum (who would have ever thought that both of us could get so excited by a vacuum?), clothes, a bandsaw, etc., etc. We felt the love :)
Our trip to Toronto was cancelled last minute due to all the Toronto sickies, not so good for new babies. However, Olan and I are going to be tripping across the countryside in the next month or so, to Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver so hopefully everyone will still have a chance to meet him.
So much happened but now that I sit here with a few minutes, I can think of none of it! Oh well, here's some pictures to fill in the blanks!
