On our way home from yoga today FOUR people tripped while walking by me or in front of me. What's up with that? It was like having some kind of strange superpower. Before we reached home I was searching my mind trying to think of ways that I could use this new power to shower myself with money and influence but I couldn't think of a single way! Olan was asleep so he was no help. So we just went home. What a waste!
My parents are off on their trip, making their way sloooowly down to Florida. They're in New York today, and I hear that calls were made from Louis Vuitton, sounds like they're having fun! Or at least mom is :)
We also heard that Rob had an emergency appendectomy. Ouch! My appendixless thoughts are with you Rob. It's a pretty sucky thing to have happen. I can't believe that your surgeon just removed the appendix of an 88 year old man though... I totally thought that it was a younger person thing. Even on maternity leave, I continue to learn ;)
Olan is the cutest baby ever, yup that's right... EVER! Adam and I are so, so, so in love with this child. He's at this great age where you can start to just hang out with him. In the morning when he wakes up we bring him into bed with us so that WE can wake up. It's the best time of the day. He smiles and wiggles and chats with us. When that slow little morning smile spreads over his little face it just compresses your heart and makes it hard to breathe. We can't believe that we made him... it boggles the mind!
